Pre-festival Map

When the Yoiyama festival begins, the floats' komagata lanterns are lit up to the sound of Gion music, and the town takes on a festive atmosphere. The magnificent float procession on the 17th and the impressive mikoshi procession are also highlights.

Get off at Hankyu Karasuma or Hankyu Kyoto-kawaramachi station

Exits 2 and 3 will be for outbound passengers only from around 8:00 until the end of the parade. Other exits may also be for outbound passengers only.
