Hankyu Corporation Social Media Terms of Use

Article 1 Purpose of the Terms and Scope of Application

  1. These Terms of Use shall apply to the use of the following social media accounts and their ancillary services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") operated by Hankyu Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

  2. In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms and the terms of use of each social media, the terms of use established by the social media shall apply.

Article 2 Prohibited Matters

Users may not engage in the following prohibited matters when using the Services. Also, in the event the contents of a post made by a user are deemed to correspond to any of the prohibited matters, actions, such as refusal to post without prior notice, deletion of the relevant post and blocking the relevant account may be taken. The Company shall not be obligated to provide the reason for the deletion.

  1. (1) An act that will or will likely infringe the rights or property of the Company (including the Company's group companies; the same shall apply hereinafter in this article) or a third party
  2. (2) Slandering and actions/information that will likely slander the Company, a third party or their products/services, etc.
  3. (3) An act that will or will likely infringe a third party's privacy
  4. (4) An election campaign, political activity, or the equivalent
  5. (5) Missionary work, solicitation, or the equivalent related to a specific religion, organization, or group
  6. (6) Provision of benefits or other cooperation to antisocial forces
  7. (7) Sending or saving contents that include software, viruses, specific code, or a file or program designed to block, destroy, or limit the functions of a computer software, hardware, or communication equipment
  8. (8) Transmission of information that is harmful, obscene, violent, or discriminatory; information that contains expressions that encourage suicide or self-harm; or information that evokes such matters
  9. (9) An act that will or will likely violate public order and morality or laws and regulations
  10. (10) Hindrance to the operation of the Services or business activities of the Company and damage to the trust in the Company
  11. (11) Transmission of information for the sole purpose of making profits and commercial transactions (including affiliates)
  12. (12) Transmission of information aimed at recruiting
  13. (13) Transmission of information aimed at collecting donations and investments
  14. (14) Stating false information and impersonation using a third party's information
  15. (15) An act in violation of these Terms of Use
  16. (16) In addition to the above items, an act that is reasonably deemed by the Company to be inappropriate

Article 3 Handling of Intellectual Property Rights etc.

  1. When you post Content, you represent and warrant that:
    1. (1) The content posted by the user does not infringe any third party rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, trade secrets, honor, and privacy
    2. (2) When the user posts content other than text, such as an image, music, or video (hereinafter referred to as "Images"), the User possesses the rights sufficient to license the Company the matters set forth in the following paragraph
    3. (3) The entire content posted by the user is accurate and complete
    4. (4) Posts by the user and other use of Services do not violate the related laws and regulations
  2. The User shall not publish the Posted Images, etc. in printed matter, newsletters, Platform pages, etc. (including duplication, adaptation, translation, public transmission, processing, modification, and any other acts) for the purpose of advertising, promotion, and promotion of the use of the Service. The moral rights of the author shall not be exercised.
  3. The copyright (including the rights stipulated in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act) and all other rights to the content posted by users, excluding images, etc., shall belong to our company.
  4. Even if the content posted by a user is similar to a product that our company subsequently develops, announces, sells, etc., the user will not be entitled to any claim for remuneration or any other rights.
  5. All copyrights and other rights to the posts and content distributed by our company on this service belong to our company or rights holders recognized by our company.

Article 4 Responses to Posted content etc.

  1. The Company is not obligated to follow users who follow the Service, and follow relationships will be established at the Company's discretion.
  2. The Company is under no obligation to respond (including "likes" or replies) to posts, comments, replies, direct messages, etc. sent by users on the Service.

Article 5 Exemptions

  1. As a general rule, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this service unless such damages are attributable to our company.
  2. We are not liable for any damages incurred by users regarding service suspension, deletion of content, accuracy of information, disputes, etc.

Article 6 Prohibition on Transfer etc.

The user may not transfer to a third party or pledge as collateral the status as a user of the Services or the rights or obligations under these Terms.

Article 7 Handling of Personal Information

  1. When a user posts information that includes personal information, this will be deemed to be the user's own willful disclosure of the personal information, and the Company shall not bear any responsibility arising from this.
  2. If we are requested by an individual, a judicial or administrative agency, etc. to delete any information that falls under the preceding paragraph, we will delete it promptly.

Article 9 Revision/Termination of the Services

The Company may improve, revise, or terminate the Services without notice.

Article 10 Revision to the Terms of Use

Each provision of these Terms of Use may be revised to the extent reasonable and within the purpose of the contract when there is a reasonable need to do so, such as changes to the social circumstances. In addition, in the event a revision is made to these Terms of Use, the revised Terms of Use and the effective date shall be announced on the Internet or by other means, and such revision shall be applied after the passage of a reasonable time period as set forth at the time of the announcement.

Article 11 Governing Law/Court of Competent Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms and Conditions and this Service shall be governed by Japanese law.
  2. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use and the use of the Service shall be resolved by a court with the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court as the court of first instance.
