IC card for special discount for people with disabilities

Eligible customers

Persons with a Class 1 physical disability or Class 1 intellectual disability and their caregivers

* A physical disability certificate or rehabilitation certificate with "Type 1" written in the Passenger Railway Company passenger fare reduction column is required.

Available transportation options

SURUTTO KANSAI It can be used by all IC card handling businesses that are members of the Council.
In addition, from March 16, 2024, it can also be used by IC card for special discount for people with disabilities handling businesses (*) separately approved by the SURUTTO KANSAI Council.

* JR West, JR Shikoku, Ainokaze Toyama Railway, IR Ishikawa Railway, Happy Line Fukuino ICOCA Area and Iga Railway

・IC cards cannot be used in conjunction with other Tickets.
・ Charge is required before use.
・ It is necessary to complete the "Continuous Use Confirmation" procedure once a year.

how to apply

It will be issued by mailing the application form, notebook confirmation notification, and other necessary documents to SURUTTO KANSAI Co., Ltd.

  • About the application form and notebook confirmation notification, Hankyu Railway will be available at each Information Counter (Osaka-umeda station [3F West, 3F East, 2F West, Chayamachi Exit], Juso Station, Tsukaguchi Station, Nishinomiya-kitaguchi Station, Shukugawa Station, Kobe-sannomiya Station, Toyonaka Station, Ishibashi handai-mae Station, Kawanishi-noseguchi, Takarazuka, Awaji, Kita-senri, Ibaraki-shi, Takatsuki-shi, Katsura, Kyoto-kawaramachi).
  • The disability certificate verification form will be handed over to you after we confirm that the disability certificate belongs to you and go through the necessary procedures, so please make sure that the person whose name will be on the card comes to the counter with the disability certificate (copies are not accepted).

Card arrival

It usually takes about 3 weeks for your application to arrive after you mail it in.

*However, shipping may be delayed during busy periods, when there is a large number of applications, or around holidays.

Procedure for confirmation of continued use

To use the special discount IC card, you will need to go through a procedure once a year to confirm your continued use.

  • We will inform you of the procedure by mail (round-trip postcard) from SURUTTO KANSAI according to the confirmation of continued use.
  • The procedure is as follows:
    (Except for the year of card renewal)
    Please send a reply postcard (confirmation of continued use) to SURUTTO KANSAI Co., Ltd.

    <Card renewal year (every 5 years)>
    We will verify your identity at the window (*) of the station designated by the handling company. Please present the postcard and the physical disability certificate or rehabilitation certificate to Station Station staff, and mail the reply postcard (Continuous Use Confirmation Slip) after the procedure by Station Station staff to SURUTTO KANSAI Co., Ltd.
    Note: If the person with the name on the card does not come to the counter, the procedure will not be possible
