How to use Alternative transportation

Available sections

Alternative transportation will only be carried out on the specified sections of other railway companies that correspond to the non-service section.
In addition, the range of use varies depending on the valid sector of the Tickets you have.

※ Alternative transportation If you are taking other routes within the section, you can choose any transfer station (including our line) and use it.
However, if you want to get off at a station outside the Alternative transportation section, you will need to pay a separate fare.

• The implementation of Alternative transportation and the target section will be determined according to the scope of inoperability, etc., so we will inform you each time. (You can check it on the Platform page, station information display, etc.)
• If you use a means of transportation other than Alternative transportation (bus, taxi, etc.), you will be responsible for it.
  The use of buses, taxis, etc. to the transfer station will also be borne by the customer.
  ※ Kyoto Municipal Bus "Nishioji Shijo ~ Nishioji Station" and "Nishioji Shijo ~ Shijo Kawaramachi" may be transported by bus.

How to use Alternative transportation

Passengers who have a Tickets (excluding IC cards, etc.) including the non-operable section that has entered the Ticket gate (start of travel) before the Alternative transportation is unavailable, etc., can use the .
Commuter passes can be used even before entering Ticket gate.
